coloring matters

i really want to learn how to color arts here at dA.
i would like to have the knowledge of those shadows and lighting effects.

but if anybody out there would like to color ANY of my dAs please do inform me...

it would be very much accepted..
and a bunch better if somebody would teach me the basics..
practically the easiest ways of the easy way.
